Can anyone post a typical monthly schedule at Compass for a junior line holder and reserve lines, please? Or at least how many days on/off junior line holders and reserves are getting. And what time trips start and finish on the first and last days, respectively (commutability).

Thanks for the help.

+1....just got a call from HR, how does reserve work over there? Call out times? Do you get per diem or paid for the 30 day at home study time? Thanks in advance

Default Compass

We have an increase in block hours in the fall and they loose about 1.5 pilots a month to attrition right now. That is what management told me in our recurrent training briefing the other day. Take that for what it is worth. Also we have hired ten more part time contract sim instuctors. They plan to hire about twelve pilots a month for the next couple of months i.e. sept and oct not including what they have hired in August. I know the training building will be busy and is scheduled out to December as of right now with new hires and upgrades that I discussed. This is all subject to change but the 12 upgrades should make many of our egar F.O.s happy.

Happy Flying,

GandC

Why do so many people want to work for Compass? I don't get it...?
Funny story actually,I was flying with this "Dude" from L.A.! New FO, real meat-head, how he passed any writtens without the 'extra-time' card, or assistance from an FAA secretary with 'other ways to ask the question' are beyond me.We flew together for four days and i have never in all my years on this earth, have heard the words "sup" "brah" "dude" "yo" and "hella" used as much as they were on this trip. Neverthess, the guy is funny, he can handle a crosswind landing, without scaring too many passengers, and he "GET'S TO FLY SOMETHING BIGGER THAN THE 145!".

Andy, you know i love you man. Call me sometime...I miss you

Will 300 hours and a jet transition course work for me?

It might be a downgrade from the 57/67 family...

Haha... for the guys at OH and such and on the street, I'd def be looking into CPZ.

We are already over the hump where furloughs were likely. The LGA announcement is making it even less likely. There's always a concern in the back of my mind, but that will follow me throughout my career and is normal with this industry.
