Compass isn't going to take many from the pool (if any). Delta says no hiring till late 2013 so stagnation will persist at cp

This is actually what was said......

As of right now, we are adequately staffed for the summer of 2013. This means that unless Network decides to significantly increase our summer flying, we’re not planning on hiring until late 2013 to ramp up for flying in 2014. However, if past experience holds true, it’s unlikely that all pilots slated to retire over the next 10 years will choose to fly until age 65. Therefore, Crew Resources and Scheduling will closely monitor our staffing levels on a monthly basis to ensure we stay ahead of the retirement wave and don’t find ourselves short-staffed.

Crew Resources still hasn't received the block hour plan from marketing, and that's a huge part of the hiring equation.

I've got 3,500TT, 2,700 SIC Turbine, previous 121 experience. No internal recs.

Applied in August, 4,000 TT; 3,600 SIC Glass, 121 instructor, 4 year, internal rec, no call... And I used the preferential interview agreement between 9E Alpa MEC and CZ and apparently that's not worth the paper it's printed on. GL everyone

Delta weekly update from Director of Flight Ops said no hiring until late 2013 at the earliest. Hopefully some more CZ/XJ pilots can start flowing up in 2014.

That's not what he said. He said likely no hiring until 2013, but that is if the block hour plan is kept level, and that doesn't come out until October.

In a span of a few months we went from hearing that we were flowing 100 of our most senior guys beginning in Jan 2013 to now perhaps nothing until 2014. It's frustrating but it helps to keep things in perspective, we at least have a job to go to. Best of luck to all.

With previous recent updates practically bragging about the infinite wisdom in gifting capacity to LCC's and foreign airlines even a level block hour plan is on thin ice.

I updated my airlineapps last week, and got left a voice mail today about an interview. Will have to say sorry for now, but try and leave it open ended. If things start going out of control at Eagle, Compass would most likely be my first choice. Seems to have a bunch of potential.

You're at eagle now and got offered an interview at compass?

How senior are you?

If the answer is "not very," RUN! (or at least go to the interview)
