Holy Smokes, what a no-brainer, anyone that worked at XJT or works there now would agree, stay as far away as possible from XJT. Any other airline out there would treat you better then XJT. Run forest run!

If you didn't know, ExpressJet has one of the best contract and work rules in the regional industry. The only thing I can assume about you is you got shot down at the interview, i.e, Express Jet decided you were not a good fit for them!!!! That being said, good luck with GoJet and Pinnacle and all the other regionals that you will get on with. |

Maybe slight off topic but not quite but lets say someone gets class dates at both Eagle and XJT, in what circumstance would it be smarter to choose Eagle over XJT or vice versa?

Hes not a CFI he has corporate jet time. How much we don't know but probably enough to get on a t spirit or Jet Blue
Also you do not need 121 time to get to a major. There was a guy in my new hire class at UA that was all part 91 flew citations, and I'm sure there are more than just him hired in the last year. |

Xjt def over eagle. Way better contract and whoever said it is stagnant here? I've moved up 100 slots this year and I'm CRJ, let alone even more on ERJ and continuous hiring behind, this with majors just only starting to ramp up now.

Everything is relative, Eagle will keep losing CAs indefinitely to AA. Also add the ones that goes to other places. We are losing about 50 pilots a month or more. Not because it have the "better contract" now it means it will have it tomorrow. We signed a 8 year contract, Xjet is in negotiations and wait soon to get whipsaw it with Skywest and other places. There's no better regional. All of them are crappy, everything depends where he is willing to live and which one gives them the best options for him. |
