It may not go senior at first but at almost every airline that has had an LAX base now or in the past it's been one of the more senior bases. The west coast bases are senior to the East coast bases at almost every airline.

After these first couple vacancies and people currently here bid, it will be very junior until people (new hires) start getting some longevity. It will be new hire and JR upgrade central.

The question is, how many current CPZ pilots transfer to LAX where there seniority will be senior in base? I bet it's senior at the top and really junior at the bottom. Does MSP shrink and displace a bunch of junior MSP folk? Lots of factors. We shall see!

I've got offers from both Mesa and Compass. I'm not basing my decision on ZEDs, but I'll be commuting from Ireland quite often. Do
Mesa and Compass have ZEDs with the following?
Aer Lingus
British Airways
Virgin Atlantic
Flybe
KLM
Lufthansa
I also have an offer from ExpressJet but reading through the threads here I don't think I'll take that.
As I said, the commute won't be something I'm constantly doing, but ZEDs on the carriers above would really help.

Honestly, I wouldn't come here. That being said, I'm a Brit and I manage to go home about once every 5 to 6 weeks for a decent stretch, so it's not all bad.
I'd be interested to hear what Mesa's ZEDs are like?
