Compass vs. AWAC
 

I'm fortunate enough to have offers from both, and am trying to decide which job to take.

I've researched both companies, but would like input regarding the day-to-day realities of working for either company and commuting to their bases (since I'll probably have to commute either way).

What would the commutes be like? Compass has alot more movement that's forsure.

Easy answer. Compass for now. AWAC is a great company but unfortunately their CPAs with US Airways are do to expire soon (2015 I think) and may not be renewed. Compass has a long term deal with Delta. If something happens that AWAC gets its contracts renewed or new aircraft then you would have a hard decision to make. But until that happens you'd be crazy not to go to Compass.

AW is a good place to work, but Compass hands down. More certain future with newer jets, and move movement because of DL flow.

Compass hands down. You'll be close to upgrading at Compass around the time AWAC might close their doors. I'm a 4 year Awac FO who lives in base, who's thought about applying to Compass. That should tell you something.

If you live in a AW base then you might have to really think about it. Otherwise, Compass, it's still a good time to get in...

With AW's CPA expiring next year and no news about a future or renewal? The choice is obvious

This isn't even a choice you have to think about....it's Compass. I've enjoyed my time at AWAC, but the future is way too uncertain to recommend anyone coming here.
