Default Compass Technical Exam

Good evening.

I have read the gouge in the compass thread and on the various websites outside of APC.

I am wondering if the test has changed since there is no longer a flow agreement with Delta and if anyone here who has taken it recently can provide some additional clarity on where to focus study efforts?

Thanks in advance.

I interviewed in June and all three exams were still in place. I believe the interview process has changed slightly since then. Hopefully somebody that has interviewed more recently can chime in.

Systolic or diastolic?

Compass doesn't seem to be having any trouble filling classes and last I hear was still booting plenty of applicants. At least they still pos space people out to MSP for an interview and don't just skype or phone interview like some carriers *cough*.

There is no more 3 tests anymore as of around sept of last year. Just one 50 question ATP style test and one HR style interview.

I was one of the first handful to interview after they changed things up. I just took the one technical test and the panel/HR interview.

You've probably read the same gouge I did, and I found it to be a pretty solid representation of what was on the test. Maybe not the same questions, but very similar...similar enough that I felt mostly prepared when I took it.

Don't kid yourself. Skype interviews are quite the norm in the real world. And a personal interview, while good for shaking hands and going thru a logbook, could instead be money spent on pilot's wages.
