Yeah that memo wasn't exactly positive. Unexpected expenses? Super vague. Compass doesn't have an efficient or effective MX program. That means performance suffers. CPZ doesn't have a new hire bonus, no retention bonus, a super junior pilot group, average pay rates. What's so expensive and so important to put in an employee memo??

What does stand out is the ineffective leadership. The Paris training fiasco was a ridiculously expensive disaster. I think TSH bleeds money due to the incompetent "leadership". It's the same old stale higher ups that needs to figure it out ASAP. You can only blame the little guys for so long before a purge is needed at the top.

So, OO has taken all the shuttle flights from lax to sfo, 13 flts per day. CPZ is only doing AA on this route.

In other interesting news, the sun will come up tomorrow. Getting rid of the shuttle flying is the best thing that could happen to CPZ. Good luck with that SKY.

100% of the shuttle flights SKYW did yesterday were delayed. Today 100% of the flights were delayed getting to the gate. Welcome to the party.

This is the best news at Compass since the AE flying was announced. Unfortunately, the only good news in a while...

Have fun with that haha.

That memo screams suspect leadership at best. Give us the right tools and we will succeed.

Exactly. Isn't transparency the most important thing these days.

Even back at 9E we got more information than this. "Delta is charging us by the minute for APU use, so every departure should be a cross-bleed". How can we help the situation if we have no information. Well I guess I have received some information, I sort of know how to check in for a Lido trip.

over 700 possible departures per month on that shuttle lost to skywest, and you guys are only crying about losing 7 clapped out 170's, Sheesh.

we lost the shuttle to Delta mainline before, and they realized they couldn't do any better, we got it back. Now SKW gets to see the suck of the of the LAX-SFO shuttle all day. If anything itll help our performance when that late night LAX-DFW flight wont be delayed 2+ hours since its waiting on an inbound from SFO with a 1.5 hour flow time. Good riddance to the shuttle as far as I'm concerned.

700 departures that we don't want. And it's 6 clapped out 170s thank you very much. Those 700 departures per month that SKYW might be getting will surely bring down your performance numbers. They did for Delta and they did for Compass and they will for any other carrier. It's not the carrier necessarily..... It's the way Delta runs the gate space and the nature of the LAX-SFO beast.
