Is anyone else having problems listing more options in PBS (example, Avoid Reserve, Try to finish at this layer, mad days off etc..)? I can only add 4. last month I was able to add a lot more

When I had my vacation it gave it to me automatically, the day before the first day of vacation started.

Yes, pick which one you want and bid it in every layer you're bidding a line in the off day bids.

Seems like PBS isn't working at 100%. It's not allowing me to select days off or saving reserve days, or allowing me to select more than 4 preferences for any of the layers...anyone else having any issues?

I think you hit the nail on the head. This will be a structural shift that had not been seen in aviation for a very long time. In fact, I do't think it ever happened in the modern times. It will be interesting to watch it and be part of it.
Yepp, granted it may take 300 to get comfortable flying the airplane, and by the time you reach 1000 you should be pretty comfortable for sure, but that has nothing to do with your ability or confidence to become PIC as I am sure you agree. You'll also go from probably having 19 days off to being on reserve and having 11-12 days off.
I could be off here, but I figure that 1.5-2 years from today, a large majority of the upgrades at Compass and most likely at other regionals with quick upgrade times will start shifting from the previous 121-lateral movers that chased the quick upgrades to the CFIs - so we're just going to have to get used to the fact that a ton of people flying in the left seat in these new times will not have had the stagnation, furloughs and endless time on reserve (and therefore more 121 experience over time) that prior Captains (which at the time were FOs) did.

I still can't get any line property preferences to show up on the prioritize layers page.

When I got onboard in the fall, I went to CAE Dallas. I did it during the 2 weeks between orientation and the first day of class when you're doing your CBT (computer-based training), I was doing both at the same time. But generally yes, they want you to have the ATP CTP course (and ideally the written itself) done before you show up for the orientation.

Is anyone else still having issues with PBS and it not saving your preferences even after they said they fixed it?
