However, through the rest of 2015 and well into 2016 we've been hiring 30+ people a month, and we're only upgrading a dozen a month so far. So the two year upgrade number will unfortunately go up.

I agree, I think that it will stay at 2 years until about October 2017 or so when we start getting away from the 50% FO CA mix with those that were able to take advantage of the quick upgrade. Then upgrade time will climb at about half a month per month.

So currently, we have 367 FOs on property, in order to maintain or achieve a two year upgrade they need to upgrade 15.29 pilots per month. Every month that this does not happen upgrade times will slowly grow plus the six month stagnation.

I guess only one of the classes showed up on the list but that's not surprising. Additionally, I really doubt there's any pay increase or bonus coming, Maybe if we flew CRJ200's we'd need that but most RATP kids would fly an E175 for $25 an hour. I suspect recruiting has built up a little stack of CJOs to put into the next several classes.

"even the most junior FO is getting the base they wanted"

No he didn't? All NH's went to LA and the most junior FO currently flying (12/22/16) was involuntary displaced to LAX with a SEA bid. there's still a few from the 12/15 class that arent where they want to be either.

Can we continue to expect all new hires to go to LAX? thats horrible news for SEA guys stuck on reserve

SEA will almost triple in size and be larger than LAX for DL Ops by the time MSP closes.

It's not like SEA has a plethora of space to accommodate a large influx of additional flying either.
