Default Overnight Allowances

I'm new to the corp. world, just starting out, and it seems our place is a bit stingy with hotels / per diem / etc. What's the general standard max price for a hotel, or to put it differently, are you guaranteed a 3 or 4 star or better regardless or price / etc?

How about meal budgets per day?

thanks.

Marriott properties, nothing less.

International or US domestic? Do you get a car? Per diet or actual?

$300/night cap on the hotel, although flexible if special event or very expensive city. Realistically nothing less than a good 4 star, but mostly 5 star hotels. Per Diem $80-120/day depending on location.

Marriott properties at all cost!
We try to keep it $200/night or less. We save on cost when able, but not sacrificing quality or safety. Big events or exotic locations cost what they cost. We are hotel nerds....we enjoy researching locales for great hotels with decent prices.

Cars, we get them if needed. We use car service in NYC or Uber when it's easier.

Food goes on the company card. We treat it as if accounting or the boss questioned our purchase, we could pay for it without question.
Never been asked about any charges.
