Does anybody know the average salary for a Part 91 G650 PIC in the LA area?

225K and up for just a PIC.
May be above 250K if you work for someone willing to pay for the right guy.

There are several fortune 500 companies out there that pay their 650 crews a base salary of 225-250k, with a total comp package closer to 300

Default Current G 2022-2023 G Pay

Hi all, looking for an update on what the market rate is on a PIC for a G650 or G600. Got some apps out, don’t want to short myself if and when offer time comes along.

Thanks all

From what I’ve heard, what was posted above from 2021 is close to standard for the 650. Maybe a touch higher on the East and West Coast.

ETA: Checked on my source. Bay Area G650 is $350k living locally. Probably the same for the 600. (Contractors are getting $3500/day on the 600.) 650 in LA is around $280-300k. Maybe a touch higher. Good luck.

New laws in CA and NYC require employers to post the salary now and its quite interesting to see the #s in the mid 200s, and not 300+ like some are claiming to be the norm now.

Don't shoot the messenger!🤣

I wonder if my numbers include some bonuses?

A lot of corporate jobs have a base salary and then a number of additional items. If just the base is posted then it probably is in the mid to high 200s. With bonus one can easily reach over 300. It is not rare for a corporate bonus to be 10-20% of the base salary. Add in 401K match, stock grants, and other cash incentives for the better jobs and mid-300s is easily achievable. The ability to contract on days off is another wild card that won't be published. Quite a few corporate pilots can fly contract trips to put annual gross well into the 300s and even low 400s.

Obviously, like with pay, the vacation days can vary from zero to 5 or 6 weeks a year for senior people. 401k seems to be in the 6% matching range.
