Just curious what type of airplanes they operate out of TYS and what the pay and QOL is over there. I am really interested in working for them because they are only 1hr. drive from my house in TN. and would be more than willing to move to TYS if needed.

There is always Clayton Homes @ TYS. I believe the CP told me they pay jet captains $200/day. When you are on the road, you have to go to the trailer lots and work, or work in the plant. Another quality operator!

$200 a day as a captain. Why would anyone want to work for a crap operator like that?

Heard several weeks ago Anderson News was hiring. Not sure if that is still the case. SeaRay Boats (Brunswick) I have heard starts all pilots off as a contract pilot. I don't know what their current situation is. This is all hearsay.

Goody's flight department consists of a CL 601-3A and a Lear 35.

Brunswick's flight department consists of two Hawker 800's based in UGN and they have another Hawker based in FLD (Fon du Lac, WI) in support of their Mercury outboard division. Brunswick Boat division has one Falcon 20 based in TYS. Don't know much about the contract pilot issue, but it appears that they are fully staffed.
