Any corporate guys out there that also drill with the Guard or Reserves? I imagine the ability to do so is very dependent on the company you work for, but what is the general feeling out there?

In general, you're going to find many corporate operations that are unwilling to hire guys that are reservists, particularly those with only two or three pilots on staff.
I can think of one corporate part 91 operation that has at least one guard guy... but they have 12 pilots and can cover the flying when he is gone.

The reserve job I'm bucking for is also local to where I live and is a training unit so it never deploys. Occasionally they will go on det for a week. I was thinking that if both are local it would be easy to drill around the schedule of the corporate gig. If any last minute corporate stuff came up you can usually drop the reserve day pretty easy.
I can see how it would be tough to hire a regular reserve guy in a deployable unit though. I was afraid of an answer like yours, but I can hope for the best as I do want to stay serving in the reserves and, depending on how much this corporate job would pay, I think it would be pretty cool.
I'm more of a QOL guy than a "I must fly big jets" guy so a salaried job in my hometown where I could be home most nights sounds pretty appealing to me. Plus I think the flying would be more fun.
I just hope they call me.
