Default Corporate jobs in the Portland, OR area

I am looking to for a corporate job in the Portland area, anyone have any ideas on who is hiring? I have found companies like Flight Craft at PDX; Aero Air, Premier Jet and Global Aviation out of Hillsboro. Can anyone tell me how it is to work for some of these companies (Schedules, pay, QOL) and wether or not they are looking for apps. I will send a resume anyway but just curious if any are actively hiring. Thanks in advance.

I worked for Aero Air a while back. Back then they kept their ambulence and charter dept separate. Good place to work, people were friendly. More turn over on the ambulence side. They fly turbo twin commanders and use two crew.
There's actually quite a bit of GA around PDX area, probably due to the tax benefits than other states. UAO, and MMV also had GA at them also. Just one of those places you want to make contacts and blanket the area with your resume. You never know what single jet operator is looking for.
I'm going to assume you're a captain with QX by your post. Why leave?

I don't actually work for QX. I lived in Portland before my current job and my wife and I would like to make are way back there with out the commute.

Does anyone know about any air ambulance gigs or anything else besides flight instruction that is currently hiring? With the way the 121 business is going I will do just about anything to stay employed.

I don't know about the Portland area.... or where these companies base their a/c but here are a few that may be looking for pilots.

www.emergencyairlift.com - these guys are out of Bend, OR.
www.cal-ore.com - out of brookings and somewhere in ca.
www.aeroair.com - out of Hillsboro.

Sorry I can't be much of help.... good luck finding something!
