Send me to school and I'll fly it for ya. Right? If you can't "get the hang" of a different machine, than you shouldn't be in this line of work.

I've got more jet time than to shake a stick at... overwater experience too (Pacific), but jet operators won't talk to me because I flew a Boeing, and am not typed in what they fly.

It's always something....

Gotta roll with the punches, it's about all you can do.

TwinTurboPilot I LOVE your avatar. I have a wheel standing Stang as well. Do I know you from any Mustang sites? I am assuming you are running that Stang in your AVATAR? Thanks

Glad this thread got resurrected cause it got me thinking. I have been flying since 2000. I have been a CFI, bush Pilot, Freight Dog, 2500tt and I am now sitting in the wrong seat in a brasilia and This first year I have made 18K. No movement in site at my company and I am in the plane that makes the least in 2nd year pay, oh and I am on reserve. Yes I knew what I was getting into and no I'm really not complaining, but I have a family and you can bet your A$$ that if there was a Kingair job anywhere close to where I live that Paid 40K with bennys, I would be all over it.:D

Yup
Yea or in my case where I have 2300TT with 1200SIC in Westwinds, GIIs and Falcon 20s a jump across the pond with some time flying in central, S. America and the Carribean. Yet im not good enough to go fly 421s for a local operator. According to the person in charge my jet time is only good for padding my total time. This coming from someone with 2500TT with around 1000 in twin cessnas and commanders. He seems to also think he will go straight to the left seat of a jet soon.
