I would rather stay unemployed than work for this outfit! Marines view on the company is 100% accurate. This is what you can expect if you work for Sky Limo
1. No scheduled days off, they think your on call days are your days off.

2. On call schedule is 24/7/365

3. Faa has interviewed pilots there for suspicion of falsifying training records, docturing required maintanence on A/C, etc.

4. If you refuse a trip, even if you have a valid excuse, i.e, sick, family emergency, you will lose your job

5. D.O uses ultimatums to get his way with his employees

6. They fly their A/C unairworthy, if you refuse the flight, guess what, you will lose your job.

7. They have a terrible reputation in the industry, if you work there, be ready for harsh criticism about why you chose to work for such a company like Sky Limo

8. Absolute chaos from the minute you pick up your flight pack, unorganized from the top to the bottom , dispatchers who do not have a clue about 135 regs and duty times, passenger names not on the itinerary for international flights, absolutely no support from the company when your on the road. If you have a problem, you better figure out the solution yourself, the D.O will tell you himself that he doesnt want to be bothered, and forget calling the Chief Pilot, he has no operational control.

9. Bottom line , stay away from this company, not worth the risk of losing your license that you worked so hard to obtain.

10. There is work out there, you just have to be persistant and stand out amongst the other guys looking for work. Good luck!

Don't even think about working for this outfit. The director of operations is exactly as described. He is a highly unstable and paranoid person.

The previous descriptions of this outfit are correct. I would rather be on foodstamps and unemployment than turn a prop for these fools....

Their ad says it all "you pay for your training, and we will pay you back later......"

BWAAAAAAA HAAAAAA HAAAAAAA HAAAAA!!!!!

Oh, and by the way, if the FAA can prove that records are falsified, your license goes away for good... Period. You will never get a license back if they prove falsification. Ask your POI, this is a very serious offense.

Go missed on this outfit for sure...

I totally agree. Head for the mountains away from Sky Limo! I have had two close friends work here that I should have listened to. I decided to quit once sim training began. D.O. Jim Dent operates the simulator with zero planning, no professionalism, and expects you to use SOPs that he has just pulled out of thin air. "Well, at TWA we say this and operate this switch because....blah blah blah" He is also a convicted felon following the demise of SkyBus Airlines at St. Augustine a few years ago, from promising jobs to pilots and taking $10,000 cash from these individuals. He owes more than $200,000 to a dozen pilots or so. Convicted felon Jim Dent is public record. Bad place. Run!
