Default What do you wear while flying.....

My particular company we wear black slacks, black shoes, white shirt and a company tie. Cold wx coat is your choice.

Wondering how many flight departments have dropped the dress shirt and tie for a NICE polo type shirt with the company logo?

My "uniform" while at work consists of tennis shoes, shorts, t-shirt, and when I don't have my helmet on, a ball cap of some sort. I fly ag planes.

Black dress pants, black shoes, company polo shirt, and jacket is our choice.

This changed last February, and previous to the change the uniform was airline style with a cartoon airplane tie.

Nice slacks (black, blue or khaki). Company polo shirt (or long sleeve poplin in winter). Company land's end jacket.

Black Slacks, black shoes and white polo style shirt or white dress shirt with no tie. We strive for anonymity for security reasons.

I was tempted to go with the polo shirts for my flight department, I really liked it, but decided against it. The image portrayed to the passengers and people you meet is an extension of your company. Although, I knew our guys would still be professional with or without polo shirts, I thought operating a multi million dollar company asset warranted a professional appearance.

Honest question...you don't think wearing a nice polo or oxford with your company logo on it provides a professional appearance and extension of your company?

Man...I can't wait to wear something along the lines of the clothing discussed in this thread >G< I would like to wear a pair of slacks and a polo shirt with a nice pair of business like shoes; but since I have the fashion sense of a 10 year boy - I'll let someone tell me what to wear!
