The DFW corp. flight departments have to be the most inbred of any aviation job market anywhere. Tons of aircraft around, but I've never seen one advert for a job. I don't know a soul in the corp. av. community in DFW. I'm looking, too.

When I met you in '07 about that CFI job you were leaving for training at Republic. Why did you leave? You would have some seniority there by now wouldn't you? Sorry to hear about your lay off.

Thanks man, I quit Republic back in August of last year for this King Air job, couldn't pass it up. I was going to be back on reserve and everything and got offered this job in the left seat based at home with a salary. Anyway, didn't work out so well and probably should've stayed at Republic.

I don't know if your interested but my husband has lots of info on contract work. It is mainly lears since that is what his type ratings are in. If you want to send me pm, I can give you my husband's email. He has had to turn it all down because he doesn't have the time with his 10/5 schedule.
