Default Contract pilot pay rate

What daily rates are pilots getting in the Citation 5 series? We're currently getting $500/day.

We are in the Hillsboro (Portland, OR) area. Some pilots in the area are getting 600/day for the Bravo/Ultra...and some slightly less. I average about 15 days/month. We're paid on the days we fly, simple as that.

I am in the SE and I require $500/day including layover days regardless of seat position. For last minute call outs I require $600.

What would be an average price to charge for PIC and SIC on a CJ3 in the southeast if the company paid for your type and recurrents?

I get $500 day for flying the P180 (Piaggio) PIC and $750 for the SBR1...ummm Sabreliner PIC. I live in the NE though. It makes a big difference.

Default Pay

Keep pushing it up as far as you can! That's the only way we can hope to make a decent living flying our millionaires (billionaires) around. My daily rate is 500 per day for a domestic trip and for int'l trips 600 plus expenses in a PC-12. If I am in a jet, it is no less than 800 per day plus expenses. (If your a/c owner can't affort to pay for quality and safety maybe he can't afford the airplane either.) However, some of the other local pilots who do contract work here in the West are making it really hard to maintain these rates. They (prostitute) themselves out to be abused for up to 14 hours a day for as little as 350 without expenses.
