Are they looking for more guys? I visited the website and searched for pilot and instructor jobs with no luck. Do you need T-6 IP experience or will having been a T-6 student suffice? Sounds like an interesting oppurtunity.

T-6 IP experience will be desired. They are not actively recruiting (getting plenty of interst by WOM) so I would just fill out an app on the careers section. If given a choice, look for GFT...Global Flight Training department.

TWEET: I get to go home every 4 months for 2.5 weeks,

ME: Yikes. You are gone 85% of the time. That is the worst aviation job I have ever heard of. I have never seen an employer that valuable.

TWEET: But at what I'm being paid I can be home 100% of the time for the next 3-4 years (based what I was going to be paid at an entry level major airline / frac job and normal progression) Based on my simple math I will have only been gone 20-25% of the time. In my eyes I have one of the better aviation jobs.

BeenThereDoneit, Tweet46 you guys have to remember that is everybody is different, in unique situtations, what works for some DOES NOT work for others....Personally, the job Tweet46 describes does not appeal to me, I don't think I could do that.

But it seems like its working for Tweet, sounds like he's happy there and I'm sure he's being well compensated.....

like I said, everybody is different

Yeah but he started it!!:D

You make a good point and I certainly did not mean to imply that what I do could/should/would work for anybody. I'm just a typical guy who likes to defend himself when uninformed folks criticize my choices.
My apologies to BeenThereDoneit.
