Colorado Leads

I am a current 121 FO, looking for something on the Corporate/Charter/Private side in Denver and the surrounding area. I am brand new to the area, and have no leads whatsoever. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Colorado is a tough state, not that many jobs and folks never leave since they like the quality of life.
You're just going to have to get out there and network.
Try Centennial, Denver met. and Colo springs airports to start with.
Good luck.

Lots of furloughed United and Frontier guys trying to find work as well. I live in the Springs and can tell you that there is not much happening at that airport. I had to go to Iraq to find a job.

Kinda what I'm finding.

Thanks fellas. Iraq? Thanks, but no thanks!

Don't knock it...It's not that bad. Aside from being away from my family I am loving the job. I get to go home every 4 months for 2.5 weeks, I talk to my wife just about every day for an hour, Video with my kids several times a week, Free gym membership, LOL! and I'm not really working that hard, so lots of time to read, study or work on hobbies. All that and the pay check is not bad either. After 1 year here I'll be able to ride out the economy for several years when I get home. Heck, my wife and family are doing so well that we are considering a second year...

Cheers,

You'd think Colorado would be a good place to find corporate work, the well to do love Aspen, Eagle, Telluride, and those places. Lots of bizjet activity at Centennial airport, not to mention all the large corporations in the Denver area....

but you're right, I don't see that many Colorado job postings, WEIRD.

I work out of KBJC and have seen that colorado is a tight network and is very hard to break in with out the golden ticket. Also, most people who live in colorado dont fly their private jet to Aspen or Telluride, they just drive. WAAAY safer! There are some great companies in the area though and if you live here it is best to do some research and see what companies are available and get your name on the desks of those that are in charge. I havent heard of any hiring at BJC recently but expect the next two years to turn around very quickly

I work for i3. To be competitive you will need recent AF UPT experience, T-6 stink on you and a current security clearance. I'm not sure who is taking apps...I was recruited.
