If I hear of anything I will pass it on to you. Things are tough right now but I am seeing a little more activity on the part 91 market here in the midwest!

And maybe that is actually what they are doing - helping you. At least realize that if you are as lax with punctuation in a cover letter or resume, or grammar in an interview, that it could hurt you. Everyone makes typos....but yours went beyond typos.
Most of us are certainly not English majors, and maybe people's approach could be different (better) - but help can be hard to take in any case.

Could not have said it better myself, thanks USMCFLYR.

On looking for a job in a KA, why the 200? Do you have extensive time in type? 91 or 135? There are King Air jobs out there. They may not be what you want as far as pay and QOL, but as you said they are tough times indeed.

Well said. If I am hiring someone to operate a multi-million dollar piece of machinery with priceless lives aboard, and I saw a grammar-mangled cover letter (basic stuff), let's just say I would be severely disinclined to hire that individual over someone who at least attempted to present them in a more professional fashion. While it is true that mad spelling skills may have nothing to do with flying a good airplane, it is the effort put forth that would raise a flag with me. With a job at stake, I would bribe some geek to proof my resume if necessary.
