Embraer Legacy jobs

Cobber is correct. This aircraft has extremely good brakes. Unless there is snow or ice, you really never need them. However here at Eagle they are not pinned. The book says we can only use them if the runway is shorter than 6,000' or if the runway is wet. There are also some other times that we MUST use them. But then there is the catch all which says that we can use them any time that we deem necessary for safety reasons. But seriously thought, the brakes are more than adequate 98% of the time.

Getting back on point....
For some sort of egotistical reason which I don't quite understand, many pilots refuse to pay a fee to access climbto350.com. But those that find it a fair deal to pay for information would know that companies in Florida and California have recently been hiring Legacy pilots.
Also, countries abroad are buying these planes and hiring qualified pilots as well. But you probably need to have a subscription to know that. Or at least know somebody that does.
PS... I don't have any affiliation with the site although it probably sounds like I do. Its just that I have found very good jobs on there and I hope my fellow pilots can find the same.

Thanks for the info. I paid for that sight about 3 years ago and never saw anything that worked for me on there but maybe ill try it again. It sounds stupid but when money is really tight sometimes website subscriptions take a back seat.

I get that. But its not like you're paying for porn. In term's of pilot jobs, this is an employer's market. During the time that one exercises their power to resist paying a fee, other pilots are getting paid.

There's charter operator in Kuwait that hires for its Legacy fleet. I looked them up a year or two ago so I don't remember the name. I noticed though that pt135 places here want actual Legacy training, vs pt121 ERJ training.

The only diff between a legacy and ERJ is fuel system really. Same type rating. I was hired into the Legacy with no previous Legacy time, but a bunch of ERJ time.
I also found the job on climbto350. Worth every penny.
United aviation is the Kuwait operator. I interviewed but turned it down. Could not see myself living in Kuwait 9 months out of the year.

Legacy is a very popular airplane in Europe and particularly in the Middle East.
Aside from United Aviation, there are other gigs in the Middle East that offer rotation schedules flying Legacies... Two operators with Legacies that come to mind are Prestige Jet and Al Jaber Aviation in Abu Dhabi, and I believe some Dubai operators also fly Legacies as well.
