Default Layover compensation question

The majority of my corporate flights are out and back - minimal overnights. Its been brought to my attention that some two to three night trips are in the near future. An example is leave homebase Friday at 8am, land at destination and sit in a hotel until Sunday late afternoon for return to homebase. Maybe five or six flight hours total. The boss just asked me what compensation I need for the layovers. I fly single pilot. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Depends on how your benefits and pay are figured out...

At my company if we stay overnight, the company provides hotel rooms, a rental car for the crew, and meals. There is no per diem, but all of our expenses are paid. (Generally works out to about $125/night for hotel x 2 crew, 40/day for car, and about $50-75/person for food.)

We don't get paid any more for overnight trips (but we are salaried, so get paid whether flying for not (more often, we're not.)

When I worked Charter, Hotel and car rental expenses were re-embursed and a per diem rate of $35 for a 24 hr period.

If you are salary then it should be all expenses paid , as in you should have been given a company credit card.

if you are paid by the day you should get your daily rate Everyday (flying or waiting) plus...all expenses paid , as in you should have been given a company credit card.

do not settle for less.

LMAO

Ya know, I reported the spam posting and then responded to the thread without even looking at dates.

None of us are. We're pilots.

S'all good! I almost did the same thing. Either way, I kind of figure that he's probably worked out the pay issue and had the overnight.
