I'm sure you're joking, but actually I know they have at least one female pilot...

The only other info I know is that they airline you to the plane, you fly for a while, then airline you home. I THINK it's a week on/week off schedule. I talked to one of their PC12 pilots last year and he said he liked the job.

I rented a U-Haul trailer once and the right tire went flying off of it in downtown Boston... They then denied any responsibility or compensation/refund. Meanwhile I waited THREE hours in the heavy snow waiting for a tow truck. Thanks U-Haul. Maybe they take better care of their employees and aircraft :/

Try owning an Explorer - they won't even rent to you.

Any idea what their minimums are? What about competitive minimums?

Thanks

Default U-HAUL Aviation

Aircraft: two PC-12s, three Eclipse jets, one Beechnut 400A.
On Order: One PC-24

Recent Ads say the UHAUL aircraft are operated "IAW 91 subpart K".
Not True.

As a PC-12 Pilot: No Pay Raise for three years.
Could not take vacation except when already scheduled Off.
Alaska, Canada and Lower 48 States.
2 weeks on, two weeks off all on the road.
SIMCOM Initial and Recurrent.
Had to use personal credit card for air fare, meals hotel, rental car, etc. reimbursement later within 30 days.
Aircraft expenses on aviation fuel cards.

CEO thought nothing of keeping Beechjet pilots out past midnight, and having them flying again with under 8 hours rest.

Once had to tell a VP that 16.5 hours of duty time with 8 hours flying was unsafe (single pilot).

Doesn't sound to good to be sure

As long as the reimbursement is quick I probably don't mind this part since I'd rake in the credit card points like a madman with that much time on the road!

The ads for U-Haul pilots have been coming up very frequently, for years. That much turnover doesn't speak highly to a desirable place to work.

Any corporate operation that advertises probably isn’t worth considering. If a good, long-standing friend calls and says we’re hiring, this is a great job—go. I’ve experience at both types
