I actually lost weight flying at AWAC.

If you're not already, take food with you...microwave spanish rice + foil pack chicken makes a decent meal that, while high in sodium, is otherwise healthy. PBJs are good, as is beef jerky and fruit. Lots of coffee & water helped, and my favorite sweet airport snack was (wait for it) chocolate milk. I also was able to run 3-5mi per day fairly easily.

No denying its easier in my current job, although doing lots of 10-14hr day trips makes training impossible as almost no FBOs have showers.
