BAE Flight Department

Hawker 900 and Falcon 2000EZ (i believe). they run that flight department very well, it sounds like it is a great operation, " but pay could be better"
I fly for a fractional, the guy I'm paired up for this week came from there.. He said he left because he wanted to come to NJI, but he was happy there.

I was INCREDIBLY happy at my former job, but it wasn't a career destination so I moved on.Maybe this person REALLY wanted to fly a Gulfstream.
Who is to say why someone moved on or whether that person was truly "happy" or not - other than to give his own opinion some credence.

The hawker was sold a couple of years ago and replaced with a 900EZ. The fleet is now a 900EZ/2000EZ. They just within the past month hired 2 very low time SICs. They've always been a busy department with alot of international. The company is HQ'ed in London, so they spend alot of time there. I'm sure the more experienced guys aren't too thrilled about the low timers and their lack of intl and just plain old experience. The last two folks they hired were typed in at least one of the types. I don't know what the pay is like, but they do use contract folks so as to not "beat up" the staff too much. The fellow running the department has a bit of a reputation for being a micro-manager, know it all kinda of dude.
