Default Mike Rowe

Flew Mike Rowe for some filming of a tv episode. Spent the entire day with him and gave him plenty of stick time. My wife picked me up from the FBO and when he realized it was her birthday and I had spent the whole day filming he sang her Happy Birthday (he is an opera singer) and invited us to dinner at the local bar that night. Super cool dude with zero ego. He's the same in real life as he is on his shows.

He seems like he would be super cool. I am actually totally surprised he has been a professional Opera singer, but sure enough he was. A man of many talents.

No, but I had a near-miss (whew) with Hillary Clinton once, when she was SecState. I flew a 767 with troops returning from the Middle East into SNN for a tech stop, and her C-32B was parked a few gates down. Her staff found out when our passengers, all soldiers dressed in desert camo, walked thru the terminal to duty free. I heard from our station personnel that she had wanted to greet the soldiers as they re-boarded our flight, but that she & her entourage were more interested in shopping for duty free items instead.

Flying troops from IND. the Colts Football Team traveling that day on another chartered airliner found out our flight had soldiers heading to the sandbox. The team came over and walked the entire airplane and shook hands, photographed, and signed autographs. We took the delay with a smile.

A friend of mine flew Marine One during some of the Clinton years in office. He didn't have much to say about Bill, but he had lots to say about Hillary.
'Nuff said.

If I'm not mistaken, multiple fractional companies have dropper her as an owner/client.

Granted, it's all just what we hear. But I ran into a guy that was a crew member on the transport aircraft used during that administration. Said that Madeline Albright and her staff were ALWAYS easy, fun, gracious, humble, and great to fly. But said the first lady was quite the opposite.

I would not be surprised. Flying in a small non-FA plane, she comes to the cockpit to request someone pours her a drink. Can't do it by herself and apparently none of her minions she travels with could do it either.
Waste of good human organs.
