LabCorp - BHM

Saw an ad about 5-6 months ago, and now another one for a pilot. Anyone know what's up with this Co? Can't keep a pilot, or not a great place? What type planes they fly? Pay? Thanks in advance.

I used to fly for them in CMH. Starting pay is between 40-50K. Current equipment is a Navajo but slowly (and I do mean slowly) transitioning to PC12s. Unless it's changed, the BHM schedule is split between 2 pilots: 1 pilot does BHM-MLU-BTR-BHM the second pilot does BHM-BNA-BHM-TYS-BHM. And 5 nights a week. Nobody really leaves there because the dept is stable (at least it was when I left about a year ago). Any other questions PM me.

Haha it's actually vice versa. The reason we were chartering was because we were canceling some of the runs. As long as you had a legit reason (mx, line of storms) they didn't have a problem. Most nights, the Chief Pilot is flying too so he knows if you have a good reason to cancel. He's very safety oriented.

Thanks something accurate and positive about LabCorp!
For an update EVERYONE how hires in goes straight to the PC-12, we are down to one Navajo and it's only going to be with us until we finish training our BHM pilots on the PC-12.
We have a new DO and the negative stuff about the CP was the old CP RIP (non-aviation), he was an awesome guy gust old school and gruff. Always new where you stood and would do anything he could for you especially if you needed to take time for family.
We are working up to IS-BAO and starting at 54K.
Only downside is we are short staffed so please go to: labcorp.com apply if you think you can help! Keep checking back as openings pop up and go away frequently.
