L3 Flight International is hiring!
Ex active duty military with a secret clearance? You do not have to be a winged military pilot/aviator although that's a BIG bonus (like anywhere). NFO/WSO/NAV/SWO L3 wants 2 FOs for Lear 35s. No probation. Full pay in training. Approx 40k to start guaranteed minimum. 2 open positions based in San Diego! Home most nights!
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: (Please highlight these on your resume)
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument and MEL (w/o Centerline Thrust Restriction) Ratings.
MUST have at least the following amount of hours logged: 1500 hrs total flight time excluding simulator; 1200 hrs PIC fixed wing 200 hrs PIC multi-engine; 100 hrs night; 75 hrs instrument
MUST have a background in fixed-wing tactical aircraft or military contract flying experience similar to that described above.
MUST be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
MUST possess current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
"MUST have a background in fixed-wing tactical aircraft or military contract flying experience similar to that described above."
........Flexible on this if you have 135 PIC/MEI.

What does the annual compensation work out to be? Is the 40K min just the base training amount?

I know a few guys that did it, and they all bailed within a year for greener pastures.

It is a small step up from what they offering back in 2010 when I looked at them briefly. It was $36,000 for San Diego, but it kept you flying for that currency/recency of experience that is so important for many jobs. I went a different path, but I always had a good time flying with these guys and other companies like them (Phoenix Air for one).
Also - I'm not sure exactly how L3 pays, but that $40,000 could be an absolute minimum per year for a certain number of hours (whether you make it or not), but you are paid by the flight hour, so anything flown over that minimum number of hours you are paid in addition; the more you fly, the more you make.
On a side note- it sounds like a similar step up may have led to a mishap over in Germany.

Be careful out there!

Hey guys I was in a rush. It's actually closer to 50 absolute minimum and that's for Norfolk. I hope u get a lot more for SOCAL! Trying not to give up too much personal on the internet, but pay it forward for when I'm looking for a job one day.
