Default Caravan Amphibian Experience?

Hey guys

I have a working interview with a flight department operating Caravan Amphibians out of Miami next week. Was wondering if anyone has any time flying this plane? Trying to get all the know how before I head down there.

I ferried a few around years ago. It's a Caravan, which is a big 182. Not terribly complicated. Gear up for water landings and down for the paved stuff. The amphibs I flew had whipaire floats and they landed real soft on land. With the extra drag and weight expect only about 150 kts out of it in cruise. A lot more storage area in the floats as well. I never flew them on the water so hopefully someone else can chime in on that.
