Default Continental Flight Ops Internship experience?

Happy Holidays everyone,

If anyone has done one of the Continental Flight Ops internships (preferably either in Safety or assistant to the Chief Pilot) I would love to hear about your experience. I have read all of the information from the job posting, so I am looking more for personal experiences and day-to-day duties (more than what the website offers). Also, to all Continental pilots, what is your experience with the interns? For some of my friends that have done other airline internships, it sounds like they got in the way more than helped.

Here's a few questions I was thinking about:
Was it a valuable learning experience?
Did the company actually benefit by your being there (more than to get coffee)?
Did you have much interaction with the Pilots, Management, etc.?

All in all, I guess what I am looking for is are you glad you did it?

Thank you,
Brendan
