WestStar ALN
SAT
MKE

MCO does good work but has terrible communication, ICT performed work without my approval and seemed to not understand the problem with that...also, ICT was late delivering the aircraft to us.

I second newusername on West Star GJT. They did our Doc 22 check, plus other checks, new interior and cockpit seats on our 2005 CJ3 last Nov. On schedule and on budget.

Second the comment on MCO; they make everything an "airworthiness issue", whether you've asked them to inspect/fix or not.

When you take your airplane to a Cessna Service Center, you need to be crystal clear, in writing, on what you want, and need done, don't just say "perform what's required".

We've had situations where we were very specific and they went ahead and inspected something else, threatening to ground the aircraft (e.g., not sign off on the work done), unless they were authorized to deal with what they found during their unauthorized trolling for more work.

If we can avoid the Service Centers, we do.

We avoid the Cessna Service Centers as well due to them trying to make the airplane brand new. We've been using Dean Aircraft Service at MEI for years and I highly recommend them.

This is why I like West Star so much - they do what was quoted and don't troll for additional work, at least in 4 years of doing business including a heavy check.

Avoid Citation service centers at all costs! Plenty of other places that do better job at a lot more reasonable cost

Hawthorne in EAU does great work on Citations and they do everything except engine overhauls

Elliott is ok for some work but they can get out of hand at times. They do paint/interior too
