Frrrrreeeeeeee college for everyone! Universal Healthcare! Universal basic income! A gosh darn friggin' utopia I tell you! Cause you know that system always works out....oh wait.....

Healthcare I agree needs to be improved. There are several models that work better than ours. Education is a good investment for the country. The country currently provides 13 years of “free” education. (K-12) I think if a functional level of education is an additional 2 or 4, then maybe that opportunity should be available for everyone. A universal basic income will be the reality as technology (AI robotics etc.) makes human production obsolete and inefficient. All that is in the future. For now I’d settle for a healthcare system with price transparency and equal access but I can’t even get one of those “widely available” covid-19 test. Hmmmmm. 95%? You need a better tax preparer.

Regardless once this virus situation is over (vaccine or runs its course like the spanish flu did), ask yourself which person would be better to get this country's economy and jobs back to work? Trump or Biden? Biden will work to undo Trump's tax cuts, which includes increasing business/corporate tax rates. In a global recession that kinda thing is the last thing you need. Businesses create jobs. Most people are not self-employed. I already know who I'm voting for this November. And I'm not voting based on twitter, or narcissism, or who he offends. He needs to be re-voted because he is the better candidate to get the economy back.

Pretty standard misconception of economics. You need more consumers. Businesses run (as they should) to make money. All tax savings line a few peoples pockets. Very little trickles down time the average joe through said people spending money. The more money in the hands of a standard dude, the more he/she spends.
These last tax cuts were a joke. I find it so so fascinating that people support someone who is actively trying to undermine their right to collective bargain. What ever happened to logical in-depth thought and personal research? I guess it’s drowned out by the talking heads of cnn and fox. Sad state of affairs unfortunately.

Someone should come up with a better word for that.

That’s unpossible.

Is anyone else embarrassed to be reading all this nonsense? As a kid I thought pilots were supposed to be all cool and heroic. Now I find myself trapped in this career with a bunch of dorks and political/financial/epidemiological wackos.

Mommy should have clarified... it's just the fighter pilots who are consistently cool and heroic.

They do tend to promote their own brand of single seat bravado. That’s a good thing, those are the guys you want doing that job. I still wish I had figured out that opportunity at 17 but I had more pressing things to attend to and enlisted in the Army. Oh well. I love the ring knockers too, they are never at a loss for words. And before anyone else says it, yes I’m jealous just like I’m jealous of the seniority surfers riding the crest of the wave.
