You faux outrage is hilarious. Imagine what happened to toilet paper, but instead it was medical-grade masks. |

Not “faux” outrage at all, honest contempt which the recipients have earned. And the “medical grade masks” weren’t good enough. Everyone on the front lines should have had an M-17A1 or similar, and training to use it. If not an air supply mask like those the Army uses at Ft Dietrich.
And now we're talking about fantasyland where everyone gets a gasmask... More bad-faith debate from Excargodog. |

Way to shift the argument -- AGAIN. I thought we were talking about "how could they lie to us?!!" Which I answered, and you completely ignored.

As for the ‘everybody gets a gas mask’ comment I was only talking about the people on the front line, the medical personnel you were so worried about, and it is hardly a fantasy. I take it you’ve never been in the military? Or in the Guard or Reserve? Every single guy on mobility had a “C-bag“ with an M-17A1 (or later) gasmask, extra filters, three chemical warfare defense ensemble suits, and everything else necessary to operate in a chem or biological environment and trust me, if it’ll stop Sarin or VX it’ll stop a virus. That’s 2 million masks, sitting in storage. Tapping those war readiness materials would have been preferable to starting this out with a lie. For that matter, they could have just followed the damn OPLANs. https://www.jcs.mil/Portals/36/Docum...ubs/jp3_41.pdf They always have to be revised, but they are a good place to start. It beats starting by losing credibility with the entire country. |

Nonsense AGAIN. You may believe the end justifies the means and have so little faith in your fellow citizens to think that autocratic rule and lies are acceptable. Perhaps even that self government by the masses - that democracy thing - is per se unreasonable. But I do not. and if I “completely ignored” your comment I was only treating it with the contempt it deserved.

Social commentary. Satire if you will.
now I’m no expert in man-child trolling, but I think a “Karen” would not necessarily apply to a mask wearer and in fact actually be the douche that does the opposite. a “Karen” is a self entitled antivaxxer soccer mom who thinks the rules don’t apply to her. Often demanding to see the manager. (I’m paraphrasing some crap from reddit or some other nonsense) In other words; a “Karen” is a selfish science denier. Kinda sounds like the people that insert themselves into civil society yet don’t play nice with others. Like a person not wearing a mask in a confined metal tube, I.e. an airplane during a pandemic. |

all good, but, if we’re going to use sophomoric internet insults I think they should at least be accurate.

The enforcers of moral narcissism are cultural fascists. Abetted by Big Tech, mainstream media, and social justice warriors, cultural fascists will shame, dox, de-platform, de-monetize, shadow ban, threaten, impugn, malign, or slander anyone with the temerity to challenge the "approved" narrative. Both phenomena are a pox on our culture. |

No, actually a "Karen" is a moral narcissist like you who believes only they are right and that anybody who interprets data in a different way, who draws a different conclusion based on the available information than you, is not only wrong, they are EVIL and would do damage to society because they are wrong and evil. A moral narcissist will also never admit they might have been wrong when the data proves it and they throw a hissy fit when people don't adhere to their interpretation of what is "correct" behavior. They invoke "science" to shame anyone holding a contrary opinion because they believe themselves to be the sole arbiter of what is true.

Their numbers are vast. |

More awesome anti-intellectualism from another "genius" on this website.

And MY company's flight demand IS back to 75% of pre-Covid traffic genius. I don't fly for an airline. Never said airline traffic was back to 75% of normal. But it's not surprising you have a reading comprehension issue. |
