Default July 10: Summer is 50% over

With the assumption that the typical school summer break is May 25 to Aug 25, then July 10 is the approximate mid-way point.

Summer is half over, the upside is that it is 50% left to go.

lets get Disney, theme parks, etc open ASAP

Gonna pile on to this sentiment. Currently in Miami for training with a new airline after the last folded; live elsewhere in the state. Current situation statewide is COVID-fueled dumpster fire - far worse that what we shut down for earlier in the year. I can't believe Disney is deciding to reopen, but don't worry, you're getting your wish.

You and the other ones here are in serious denial. You can’t wish this virus away. It’s going to take a huge effort by everyone.

I know you’re merely a troll, but it makes me feel better to know that as bad as it might get for me, I’ll never have to deal with being wired like you are.

I really don't understand why people are so upset about Disney. By far it is the safest place to be if you chose to go anywhere at the moment. The same people yelling about Disney had no issue with all of us piling into Walmarts for the last three months. If you knew/saw the precautions that Disney has taken in the park to keep people apart and safe you'd stop being so upset about it. Or if you still are, then at least spread out the frustration to all the Walgreens, Walmarts and Publix's that were open throughout and didn't even come close to the precautions taken at Disney.
