Biden likely to tie climate ban to COVID bill

The Dems are going to end up losing 8-10 seats in the House from a majority that wasn’t that big to begin with (232-197). And over a dozen of the Dems who narrowly scraped by are from states like PA and TX where fossil fuels account for a lot of the local jobs. With a 4-5 vote House majority and the few Dem moderates left badly outraged at the carnage that occurred to their moderate Dem colleagues this go around, Pelosi couldn’t whip up a House majority to pass the green new deal even if she survives as speaker - which right now certainly is not assured.
And I doubt his handlers are going to let Biden anywhere near the “bully pulpit.” While he may lack the obnoxiousness factor of Trump, turning him loose in public speaking is just as fraught with hazard.

It's social justice theory applied to climate change.
If you question this, you're a bigoted, xenophobic, racist, misogynist, transphobic, fat shaming..... etc (insert new labels here).
Also science is only right/applicable when it's politically convenient. Point in case, COVID. Apparently the pandemic is unofficially over- I'm seeing large gatherings now, and watched someone take off their mask to drink champagne directly out of the bottle then proceed to hand it to the next person.

Under critical theory, anything and everything is.
A couple of years ago I saw an article about "progressive" dating in San Francisco. The girl was upset that she ended up in an interracial relationship because she felt that she was fetishizing her boyfriend's race, so she broke up with him. He didn't care about that and liked her for her- dude dodged a bullet in my opinion because she's exceptionally superficial if appearance is more important than the dynamics of the relationship. The way she talked about it, she was happy with him as a person, but she couldn't overcome her guilt for potentially fetishizing him.

American privilege at it's finest.
Honestly I think it would be funny if you could get people to renounce their citizenship to try and "remove" privilege.
