In my state (Texas), you can get it if you’re over 18 (or is it 17?) and have one of the CDC’s defined high risk conditions. One of those is a BMI 30 or greater. A lot of Texans have a BMI 30 or greater. Just sayn’.

As far as other reasons goes, various state stuff I read recently (sorry, didn’t keep the link from when I read it) indicated some states are grouping transportation workers into group 1b and are doing 1b now (I think CDC has transportation workers in 1c though, certainly lower priority than 1b).

And I’m sure there are other reasons that people on APC can qualify right now. Just some I’ve noticed.

Second shot of Pfizer a few days ago, fist one was fine, second one was a doozy. Out of commission for a full day and a half and I don’t get sick easily so I wonder if I’m more susceptible to covid. I didn’t take Tylenol until midway through the second day which was a mistake cause I felt way better after. Start dosing Tylenol right away and follow the dosages for at least 48 hours. Should help dramatically.

A robust immune response is a good thing. Might mean that you would have been less susceptible to covid.

Even though you are joking, you have three choices, all three target different cells for the adaptive immune response. The nanoparticles are so precise, they can be formulated to only enter 1 specific cell type, on the other hand, the viral vector sort of goes all over the place. There should be no cross reactivity between vaccines, although tests are being conducted now.

Immunogenicity of your choices:
(all numbers from the NEJM)

Are any of you getting the vaccine in the state you are based, rather than the state you live in? Do you have to prove residency or can you just show your company ID to prove you're based there? State I live in is slower than molasses, whereas the one I'm based in is trucking along. Thanks.

You should be able to go to any state, if you're in their current tier. I haven't heard of any states excluding non-residents. Trying to document and adjudicate employment and residency in any great detail isn't something they have time to fool with.

To be safe, in your domicile state, just bring something that shows you work there.
