And THAT is the real problem. Prisoners get better medical care than lots of Americans.

Why treat them?

Of course, there would. Here is what it would look like.
"Khalid Sheikh Mohommad attacks a nurse who was treating him for COVID because Biden allowed an outbreak to go unchecked at Gitmo." |

My buddy (who should know) says DoD called off the terrorist vaccination program. Apparently they wanted them vaccinated to facilitate interrogations and trials, which have been on hold. Somebody didn't consider optics I suppose.

Except inmates still have to receive medical care. If they get sick, they will be moved to a medical center on base. Moving prisoners to less secure areas is a risk. It wouldn't be hard for one of them to play up their symptoms in order to get closer to a medical professional to harm them. Prisons don't tend to function well when there is an outbreak. Keeping Gitmo operating in a normal state is the goal.

Your SA on this is poor. This isn't the medium security jail in West Podunk, IL. Those people are violent extremists, and are handled accordingly... not given unfettered access to Nurse Susie

I thought they were already in quarantine, they are not free to go down to their local Walmart to shop. I thought quarantine worked.

I was gonna ask how in the world these people are still being detained and Gitmo still open, but then I read these comments. Thanks for educating me on American values. I mean, isn't twenty years in a holding cell long enough to figure out if someone is guilty or not? What an abomination of justice.
