I'm sure the White House approached this decision with the mindset of, "We value terrorists over FDNY heroes"

Or maybe, the goal was to prevent a COVID outbreak in a high-security prison in an isolated location surrounded by a hostile country. Giving the prisoners the vaccine protects the service members. If they didn't do this, I'm sure the author would write an article complaining that the Biden administration failed to prevent an outbreak in Gitmo and now there are fewer gaurds available to keep the mastermind behind 9/11 behind bars.

Lock the cells, remove our troops and key ‘em starve.

So vaccinate the guards. Not that hard of a problem to solve.

Wow, you are really defending this. 😂

Except inmates still have to receive medical care. If they get sick, they will be moved to a medical center on base. Moving prisoners to less secure areas is a risk. It wouldn't be hard for one of them to play up their symptoms in order to get closer to a medical professional to harm them. Prisons don't tend to function well when there is an outbreak. Keeping Gitmo operating in a normal state is the goal.

No, there wouldn’t be an article lambasting anyone for not giving the vaccine to terrorists behind 911. Really, who in their right mind would defend this?

What about law-abiding Americans that get sick? Nevermind, not as important.

And THAT is the real problem. Prisoners get better medical care than lots of Americans.

Of course, there would. Here is what it would look like.

"Khalid Sheikh Mohommad attacks a nurse who was treating him for COVID because Biden allowed an outbreak to go unchecked at Gitmo."
