Default 10 years to get back to normal

Minimum, 7 to 10 years for things to get back to "Normal".

Isn't this outstanding for Climate Change by keeping things Green and preventing polluting airline jets from returning to the skies? No plans to reopen the American economy, Just keep passing $1.7 Trillion in Partisan stimulus bills. Yippee! I am just tickled Green! Oh, and it is not about Covid, because we just opened the flood gate on our boarders allowing tens of thousands of illegal immigrants to run across the border without being tested.

WTF???

“Bloomberg’s calculator provides a snapshot in time, designed to put today’s vaccination rates into perspective. It uses the most recent rolling average of vaccinations, which means that as vaccination numbers pick up, the time needed to hit the 75% threshold will fall.”

Right from the article you posted.

So at *current rates* they estimate 7 years for the world to normalize. Do you think vaccinations won’t continue to scale up and accelerate?

And regarding 10 years to full employment.. did you listen to what he actually said or did you just read the headline? At the *current rate* of employment growth it will take 10 years. It’s probably true, which is why they are making the case to push another large stimulus package, to cut that time down dramatically.

Few trillion here and there, before long you're talking about some real money. Or we could just, you know, open up and get back to living.

No man you’re wrong. The UN said we need 7%+ of carbon reduction every year until 2030 to reach the self imposed carbon goals. If you don’t realize that we are never going to be allowed to travel freely again, I don’t know how much more we can try to explain it to you. Normal will always be just 6 months away. Just 2 weeks to slow the spread. Just $2 trillion dollars and that’s it.

So basically, the President is fear mongering. Got it.

As you point out, everyone knows "current rates" will accelerate in the coming months. Or are we talking derivative calculus rates (the rate of the rate)? Why make the statement for any other reason than fear mongering and political expediency?

Had the previous President said this, he would be "lying."

Easy answer. No. People will have a choice to make soon, vaccine or virus. Either way the world will get back to normal, whether a crappy state government wants it or not.

I truly don’t care what your decision is, I chose the vaccine, choose what you want. I will join protesters here if we are coddling people that are afraid of a vaccine and a virus.
