No it didn't. The antibodies produced by the vaccine are still neutralizing to the Delta variant, there just aren't enough of them. However, this new variant is different, the sub-optimal antibodies to the NTD are disease enhancing without neutralizing antibodies to the RBD.

I find it concerning that the 3 cases in Israel were all vaccinated if that turns out to be true.

I would think after the last pandemic bailout, as far as the airlines go, there isn’t going to be another bailout. After the billions of dollars spent to entice people to retire early, and get paid to stay home, so when demand came back, the airlines would be ready to pick up right away....and then they didn’t, since they were short staffed, there isn’t going to be one. The unions begging for more money, the companies pleading, and then the result is that the airlines still weren’t up and ready to do the job, nope, no more bailouts.

Each new variant needs a mortality index. That’s what really matters. The infection rate isn’t scary, the mortality of it is. People hear “COVID” and they freak. That’s conditioning right there. Let’s get back to common sense.

The vaccine has neutralizing antibodies to the delta variant, just not enough of them….so it works?

Imagine that.

Another super-duper most dangerous variant 'evah.

Is it time for 3 masks?
