Maybe advance bookings show a trend. Either up gauge to more 330 domestic or down gauge to more 320s and 737s. International could be way down this summer too with JV changes.

I wonder if they decided not to fill the slots in order to reduce the amount of training required on this AE? I have a hard time believing no one had a bid in for any of the MSP7ER slots and yet not a single slot was awarded. They also didn't backfill on several other MSP positions. Sure seems like they did a lot of tweaking of which positions they filled in order to get the result they wanted this time.

JFK-GRU went from 767-400 to ER last spring, then back to the -400 in January, ER in March, then to the 330 in September 2017. Three aircraft types, four changes. Up and down gauging happens constantly these days.

If you notice, he said September 2017....as in this coming September. Was there an equipment change announced?

I would have thought a lot more people would have bids in for 7ERB.

Well believe it, people bid it without qualifiers and didn't get it. No one.

I have a feeling the lack of backfill on the MSP7ERB will be one of the questions in the next Crew Resources newsletters. It will be interesting to see their answer.
