The packet/email should have came with BB's contact info. A guest question like that is completely legit to ask. However if you prefer to wait til class to ask in person that's OK too.

Indeed that mail did come, I did write back but he didn't respond. Will ask on day 1.

All should good.

That will be fine. They'll pass around a sheet that has all the known guests listed so you can check names for accuracy. When they do, you can just add your girlfriend to the list at that time.

Reviving an old thread. Is this still a thing? I know there’s a celebration of sorts at the end of indoc but is it still a formal banquet where families are invited?

Still a thing. You are allowed one guest of your choosing who will be positive spaced to/from ATL.

Is this a recent change? Until at least about a year ago, they only PS a spouse. They did not PS a non-spouse

I think so, I did captain upgrade recently and they PS my non-spouse to the dinner which is combined with the new hires and not really a dinner anymore but more of a cocktail hour/buffet style mingling with no formal speeches or anything. Just a few photo ops throughout the hangar. Decent food and plenty of wine and beer.
