They'll provide PS for one guest, but there were people at mine that brought their parents, too. You just have to let them know on the invite sheet who you are bringing. Check out the wing ceremony videos that Johnny does for each of them to get a feel for the dress code. (The spouses watch the videos for what to wear) Cocktail attire (jacket, no tie-some do anyway). One welcome speech by whichever big wig they send. Open beer & wine bar. Food at mine: salads, sushi, meat/fancy cheese platters, ravioli, and beef wellington. 2-2.5 hours in length. They provide a shuttle to the terminal at 8pm if you want to catch a late flight home. Party wraps up at 830.

Glad they changed the policy because my fiance was not given PS.

Any kids? Earlier on the thread there was a hell no to an infant, but my kids are not in diapers. Kids are the only real issue for my wife not attending.

You can invite anyone as long as they are not under 21 due to the open bar.

I had to prove my wife was my wife. We have different last names. Not for benefits but to get her a ticket/set up in travel net as a spouse. HR was good with "married on xx yyy 2012" and her name/ssn.

Yeah. I was explicitly told by HR and BB that fiances didn't count. This is a near quote "we don't PS anyone but spouses. Imagine flying someone down for such a memorable event and then break up a few days later. The whole experience is ruined."

yeah that had changed by the time I got hired right before the pandemic. They got a ticket for my fiancé. They did mention to us as a class for those not bringing their spouse that we might want to get some solo pictures at the event in case the relationship didn’t work out.
