How long before the chit-chat charges?

I can't even remember the name of that site now. :) Never went back after they started charging.

Even people who can afford to pay won't pay on the internet. Anyone who charges for access to a site that has info that anyone can get for free doesn't understand that people on the internet make money with ads. We all HATE ads, but none of us will ever pay to get rid of them. This site exists because of ads. Chit Chat and Widget seniority will struggle to survive because even if all 14,000 Delta pilots went there multiple times per day that doesn't generate enough traffic to support ads. This site does because they capture all airlines.

Curly should have went to an ad based site and tried to get seniority data from all airlines. I'll bet his site lasts less than a year with a subscription based revenue setup.

I believe he's already giving it free to the top 1,000 Sr guys and 3 months free for new hires. The website won't generate that much traffic from paying customers.

Unfortunately I really liked the widget website, but now I'm just using the Alpa website and waiting each month for the category listing. I won't be paying to see how much percentage I'm in a base, or how senior I'll retire.

^^^ What he said. I would not give any money to Curly Culp. Just read some of his posts on the FB sight and on chit chat and you'll know why. The graphs he had were pretty...but you can find just as helpful information from ALPA's free seniority tool and John Bell's website.
