I live in base housing, my accountant lives in VA. With mail, email and phone service I find the distance irrelevant.

Retired AA pilot so understands pilot tax issues. Flew the Maddog so strong survival instincts. PM for contact info.

I recommend Stodola and Associates PLLC. I'll admit I'm biased, as my wife runs the business! She is a CPA, and has Masters in taxation. They can easily handle any and all pilot tax needs, tax planning, and tax prep even if you have a business on the side.

I'm based in LAX but live out of state, just noticed the company is withholding CA income taxes! I should be exempt under the transportation workers rule right?

Ouch!!! Call the LAX CPO. They have extensive experience in this area.
