Surface gets bad reviews - Consumer Reports

Forget about giving detailed FCRs just send this article in...

SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - The breakage rate for Microsoft Corp’s (MSFT.O) Surface devices is significantly worse than for other manufacturers' laptops and tablets, Consumer Reports said, adding that it was removing its "recommended" designation for Surface products.

Microsoft disputes the study ....................... and I agree with Microsoft.

From the article:

"The non-profit publication surveyed 90,000 tablet and laptop owners and found that an estimated 25 percent of those with Microsoft Surface devices would be presented with “problems by the end of the second year of ownership,"

There is no way, and I mean not even a remote possibility that only 25% of users would have trouble in two years.

So Microsoft is correct - the study is bogus. :D

The study further revealed that the other 75% would be presented with problems by the end of the first year.

I dare Apple to try and match the Surface's 6 minute spinning circle every time you wake it up.

My IPad doesn't even have that technology!

IPads are now funded for Q1 2018.

And I'm hearing we will have access to the internet in our cockpit to view hazardous weather like our passengers can in Q1 2027.

Sorry deadzoners. Good news is when you retire, you can fly a Cessna 172 immediately with all the latest technology we won't see for another decade.

My issue has never been with durability of the Surface. In my experience it handles the disgusted tosses onto the glareshield while waiting for apps to load rather well! :D

It's designed to be stared at, and rewards patience. Want to update Flight Deck Pro? First you must open it, then wait ....

... ok now you can hit the update icon ... then wait ....

... then you can check for updates ... then wait ... watch and stare -- NO YOU WILL NOT WALK AWAY FROM ME! YOU WILL WATCH ME DO THIS!!

then you must kindly request that it update ... NO YOU WILL NOT CLOSE OUT AND OPEN ANOTHER APP! YOU WILL WATCH ME UPDATE!

... repeat for Content Locker and Surface updates.:D
