I've been denied from two jumpseats today because it appears that CASS and myidtravel are having issues. Still trying to get out of town but the myidtravel site doesn't appear to be working at the moment. Glad I'm going home rather than going to work.

Green,

Thanks for the detailed post!!

Follow up question: you mentioned that we don't have to select class of seat...does the system just know I'm trying to jumpseat because I selected the "Commuter" option after initial log in?

Thanks!

Jumpseat committees need to ****** can this now. A jump seater should be able to walk up to the gate and be listed. Companies without this onerous process should be given priority for the JS with other companies that don't have the stupid process.

I think listing online is the way to go. Agent can't say they're too busy. But how bout a "real" Alpa endorsed website. State of the art, simple and fast.

That is correct. The system knows.

This is not sponsored by Delta or ALPA, but it should do the trick for making listing less painful.

There may be some bug issues to work out at the beginning so post any feedback here or send an email to the address on the site.

It's free for Delta pilots: www.flightcrewtools.com

Southwest has a new system now too. Not only do you have to list via MyID, but they have you fill out a paper chit before your board. You get a copy, the gate agent gets a copy and then the captain. Seems like a step backwards, but I guess it's their new process.

Sounds like LUV is copying JetBlue.
