FYI if you sign up for the free credit monitoring through Equifax you forfeit your rights of a class action suit. That fact is hidden in the fine print.

Class action suits of that magnitude = massive bucks for the lawyers and dog doo for the litigants, I wouldn't worry too much about signing away your ticket to retirement by agreeing to the ToS or other fine print. I don't have an esq after my name but I did watch that fake doctors commercial last night with Pierce, Doogie, and McDreamy...

Not true anymore. That was in the initial terms but changed quickly

There are 4 credit agencies nowadays, not 3.

Had my credit frozen 17 or 18 years ago, sleep good at night, but a pain in the arse when buying a new car or a new house:
Have to ”un-freeze” 1 or all of the accounts, $10 a pop.
