Class action suits of that magnitude = massive bucks for the lawyers and dog doo for the litigants, I wouldn't worry too much about signing away your ticket to retirement by agreeing to the ToS or other fine print. There are 4 credit agencies nowadays, not 3.
Had my credit frozen 17 or 18 years ago, sleep good at night, but a pain in the arse when buying a new car or a new house:
Have to ”un-freeze” 1 or all of the accounts, $10 a pop.
